Visible on the top edge of this slice shows the fact it was used as an anvil.
The marks and black residue found on the outside edges are different from what a crust covered
typical iron meteorite would be. The pattern disappears progressively close to the edge and the corner.
This flattened edge shows evidence of years hammering.
